I ordered food from this restaurant, but the Uber driver delivered the wrong order. When I called the restaurant to inform them, they were kind enough to arrange for their own delivery to bring the missing part of my order. I really appreciated their prompt and accommodating service. I love Full Bell! View all feedback.
What SteveE787 doesn't like about Full Bellies:
Its called 'Full Bellies ' and it does what it says on the tin, the portions are enormous, the qualit, though, is not brilliant. The food is not bad, but lacks quality, care and overall TLC. Its fast food, its not expensive its, OK ish I called in for a take out, it was fast, it was pretty tastless, it was filliing. After 10 pints on Nantwich Rd at about midnight I might just go back View all feedback.
Went here for food for the family a few weeks ago and first they were just in the process of cooking some fresh chips but i was waiting for about 10 mins at least then when i wanted a pie they said they had none so i asked for large sausage and they said it be about 5 mins got to put it in the fryer so i just said forget it ! i took what i actually had home and the chips were gritty and the gravy was cold so i won't be going back.
I travel to Crewe 3 times a year, and unfortunately my favourite chippy on the same road has closed indefinitely. I had cod, chips and Mushy peas. Not bad, but could be better. Though you can get Saveloys here. I might try again.
Stopped off in Crewe and our favourite chippy was closed and so ended up in Full Bellies. I actually appreciated that the fish was cooked from fresh and despite the wait it was well worth waiting for, rather than walking in and getting an instant fish from the hot tray.....this is where the tepid chips were a let down as they tasted as if they'd been prepared hours before our arrival, not at all pleasant. It's obvious from the menu boards that this is a cheep cheerful type of cafe. I will not return in future as there are far superior chip pies in Crewe. Another hygiene disappointment was the paper where the tongues were placed was covered in congealed deep frying fat....not very nice to observe from the serving counter ahead of being used to serve your fish supper.
My partner and I have been regular visitors to Full Bellies, especially for our Friday night takeaways. We recently visited on Friday, July 1st and ordered fish, large chips, mushy peas, and gravy. The portions were really generous, enough to share between the two of us. The fish was cooked perfectly, the chips were plentiful and delicious, and the peas and gravy were also excellent. The owners are always friendly and provide great service. The prices are very reasonable, with our entire order costing less than £10 and filling us both up. We will definitely be returning in the future.
I have tried the chicken kebab three times recently and it is really delicious. The salad is fresh and the chicken is flavorful. I ordered a small portion and it was filling. I highly recommend it.
