Cheshire Cheese - Cheshire East

New smokehouse hickory , lovely meal, one of the best steaks I’ve had. All meals to the table were excellent , service first class and pleasant waiters. Would recommend

The Cheshire Cheese has re-opened as a HICKORY'S, the only comment I can make is BRILLIANT Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff. Cant say much more Would I go back? Cant wait !!

Went in on Saturday expecting to have a few drinks there was of us. Music was blasting at only two other people in there. Wanted to order food they were not serving also did not have card machine to pay. Why dont...you open this pub when you are actually ready. First impressions count. Our first impression dire not going to try it again if you cant be bothered. We were all dressed up for a night out. Could the staff also make an effort, scruffy lot. Outside looking good very deceptive because inside is exactly the same. No thought has gone into it

We arrived at and were the only customers in a large and nicely decorated pub The good points are a large car park,nice gardens,very easy access for a wheelchair,well decorated nicely laid out interior and friendly staff. The menu we were offered was not...the one on their website,was limited in choice and there was no possibility of achieving the value offered in the Groupon. The food was quite slow in service especially as we were the only customers when we ordered, one item on the limited menu was not available. The starters were ok my chicken strips were rather bland and dry,the mains were both quite cool I had the fish and chips,the fish was hot but the chips and peas were very cool, my wife had the lamb burger the chips were cool. So quite disappointed. Two more customers arrived but a lack of atmosphere, slow service and cold food we would not return. If this new pub survives I will be amazed without some dramatic changes!

Well it shouldn’t even have star the food was awful not as described also no soft drinks! Dirty plates glasses and everything about it was a let down. As for the manager Adam he needs to pull his finger out of his a**e and...sort it out he is trying to get more customers with a calibration with Groupon but he’s giving them a bad name. Other people were complaining as well my advice stay clear!!! If it wasn’t for Bobby being so nice we would have walked out well done Bobby your the only star the Cheshire cheese has xx
