For value for money this is a brilliant hotel. So pleased with the experience. The room was a good size with en suite that had a nice shower. They included shower gel etc and towels, which was fantastic. They even include a complementary breakfast, which is a nice bonus. Location was good for us. The on site car park was very small and always full whilst here, but there is a free car park minutes away that was absolu... View all feedback.
What traciea238 doesn't like about Boars Head:
Went into the bar to order drinks. Womanhad her back to us doing some administration work. She knew we was there, because there was 4 of us chatting. In the 5 minutes we waited patiently, not once did she turn round to say, will be with you soon. As we decided to leave she turned round and smirked. Definitely will not return. View all feedback.
Third time here over last couple of months. Tried different food each time and, without a doubt, for someone that travels the UK daily and eats regularly out, this is a gem of a place for food. Portions are ridiculously big for the price. So cheap. I’m sold. Good on a pub that goes beyond the microwave and delivers SERIOUSLY great grub for such, in my opinion, a silly price. Great food. Great service. Definitely a cracking place.
Came in for Sunday lunch. Really nice food. Not overcooked and two courses for a tenner! The lady behind the bar was very tolerant when we were dithering where to sit. Would definitely recommend the place!
Great value for money. Clean and comfortable, decent brekkie, and the lovely Liz for whom nothing was too much trouble. She really works her socks off to run an ace little hotel. We'd return for sure.
The Guinness was priced at £4.80 and was enjoyable. The ribeye steak was delicious, with chunky chips that were nice and in a good portion, though they could have been crispier. The mini spring roll starter was very tasty and spicy. Definitely worth a visit.
This charming hotel/inn in Middlewich offers cozy rooms with modern amenities and a fantastic full English breakfast. The drinks are affordable and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
