Average food more like a pub, raw onion in the scotch egg bhaji, bang bang cauliflower poor, fish and chips were tiny and fish dry. So over priced for below average food.

Great ambience; love how they have transformed it into a restaurant/bar. Great food, reasonably priced too. Friendly and quick service.

We stayed here and my son his partner joined us for a delicious family meal . The staff were very friendly and helpful . Leanne has an allergy and they ensured that there wouldn't be any problems , The service and the food were superb they let us select and book the table that we wanted in advance .

The restaurant is truly beautiful and the food is second to none. The customer service is excellent and the staff couldnt do enough for me

We arrived for a birthday party afternoon tea which we had been organising with the venue for several weeks. We'd ring a head to confirm the booking we'd rung ahead and pre-ordered. In both cases we were told everything was fine. On arrival our booking wasn't on the system. We showed our booking reference email. We were told they could fit us in at 4pm; we'd arrived for our 2pm booking. The waiter tried his best to sort us out , though we (a party of 7) we're disappointed. They discounted our food to make up for the mess. Not a great first visit. Not sure we'll be back. I'd have been disappointed if we'd paid full price for the food as we've had better elsewhere. Hopefully this is just a one off for them.
