I am delighted to see this restaurant open again after the closure due to Covid. It is a lovely pub with a fantastic variety of unique beers such as Leffe, Blue Moon, and Punk IPA, as well as other guest ales. The restaurant is dog-friendly and has a great music playlist. View all feedback.
What jangingerpixie55 doesn't like about Anthology:
My favourite licensed eatery was Anthology until this lunchtime. I had booked a table for three of us for 12 30 17th February. When we met up outside the place was closed. We knocked on the door several times, even phoned the number but to no avail. What a disappointment and inconvenience turning up on time and not getting in. I was a regular customer, at least once a week and had felt welcome. What a shame and why we... View all feedback.
I recently tried the apple wine at this restaurant and enjoyed it. I didn't visit the restaurant myself, but I've heard that guests should make sure to input their registration number on a small console at the bar, or they may encounter hostility. It's worth noting that the parking lot is privately owned by a parking company, so be aware of that when dining there. Overall, the apple wine was a highlight of my experience.
On Sunday at 2 o'clock, my partner and I decided to treat his mom and grandmother to a meal, and we were glad we did. The service was outstanding, very friendly and welcoming. We ordered four main dishes: two steak burgers, a cake, and a chicken roast for myself. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes, they were full of flavor and beautifully presented. I also ordered a brownie, which was absolutely amazing. To top it off, there was a live musician playing, who was fantastic. We give the overall experience a 10/10 and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

I was shocked to receive a £100 parking fine after spending £48 at this restaurant for a quick 30-minute meal for four people. I had a beer while waiting for our takeout order. It felt like being a customer wasn't a priority, as they seemed more concerned with enforcing COVID regulations and monitoring license plates. Sadly, the restaurant is now closed. This serves as a reminder that businesses that do not prioritize customer satisfaction may not survive in the long run.
We parked in what we believed to be the free pub car park, only to receive a parking fine of £100 a week later. It was dark when we arrived, and due to COVID restrictions, we were unable to leave our table once seated. As a result, we were unaware that we needed to pay for parking. Surprisingly, the staff did not inform us about this, despite the numerous negative reviews they have received for the same issue. It was a disappointing and frustrating experience.
