Ray went above and beyond to remake everything for me when I wasn’t completely satisfied. The customer service was excellent!
The gluten-free pizza is outstanding, and the chicken calzone is delicious as well. Perfect for those with dietary restrictions!
As for the pizza, it was a whole different story. The mozzarella was rubbery, and there was hardly any sauce, just a sparse layer of thinly sliced vegetables underneath. There was no basil or sauce to enhance the flavor, and the crust was doughy and undercooked. I’ve never had such a disappointing experience at a restaurant around here, and spending $50 on such subpar pizza is simply outrageous. Don't fall for the hype like I did.
Usually I don't review a place unless it's really good or absolutely miserable.... unfortunately the penne vodka was absolutely terrible. The pasta was cooked well past al dente. It was mush. My wife said it tasted like what she would imagine dog food tasting like. The sauce also tasted burnt...they didn't include the side salad that was to come with the order. My garden salad didn't come with the grated Parmesan or dressing. I will say the garlic knots were really good, along with the calzone. Kids cheese pizzas were good as well, kids loved them. Overall, I'm just upset we ordered the pasta and it seems like it was cooked by an upset teenager.
