The pastries are incredibly tempting, although many of them are high in calories. From time to time, I indulge in a pastry that's on the lighter side calorie-wise.

I came to pick up a mobile order and I asked the guy at the counter bagging orders if they had an order for my name. He said they’re still working on it. It will be out soon. I proceed to watch him bag an order and place it on the shelf. Assuming it’s not mine because surely he would tell me if it was mine because I just talk to him about it. He then walks away. I look at the order on the shelf. It’s for me. Thank you for letting me know.

The coffee preparation area is compact, but there are plenty of seating options that make it feel cozy, including a fireplace and an outdoor patio with a privacy wall. The restrooms are clean, and while there are many kiosks, the staff is also quite helpful. The atmosphere inside is peaceful, and the lighting is pleasant, providing a cafe experience that's better than some other locations in Virginia Beach. A few of the Virginia Beach sites could really use updates and thorough cleaning!
