This was my husband and I's fourth visit to Off The Hook Seafood, and we always prefer sitting at the bar. It has such a great vibe, and we love chatting with the bartenders. Although Linda wasn't there this time, the new bartender was fantastic and did an excellent job. For an appetizer, we had tuna with sesame seeds, which was absolutely delightful. My husband ordered a fish sandwich with fries, though I didn't snap a picture of that. I chose the salmon filet with the vegetable of the day and fingerling potatoes. Being big foodies, we also ended up ordering clam chowder soup and more fingerling potatoes. For drinks, my husband enjoyed a 22-ounce Blue Moon while we shared a bottle of wine that was simply the best I've ever had. Thank you for consistently making our dining experience delicious and enjoyable!

If you're in the mood for fresh seafood, this is the place to go. The menu offers options for every budget, and kids under 10 will find plenty they like too. I had a light day and ordered the she-crab soup bowl, which was both hearty and delicious, filled with generous lumps of crab. It was my daughter's first time trying the soup, and she absolutely loved it. I also got the fried shrimp and garlic fries from the kids' menu. The fries were freshly made, hot, and topped with diced garlic—simply fantastic! I sampled the Oysters Rockefeller as well, which were excellent. We paired our meal with sweet pink lemonade, and I noticed they have daily drink specials that I'll definitely try next time. The bar area has a lovely layout, and the hostess and server were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. There's a coupon available on the Yelp app where you can pay $5 to get $10 off your meal, just show your server the confirmation number (make sure you’re at the right location!). Overall, great service and delicious food!

Off The Hook Seafood is an unfortunate name for this restaurant—you can literally taste the water the seafood came from. There was no seasoning at all. The calamari was bland, and the soup had no crab. The crab-stuffed salmon was completely unseasoned—no butter, no salt—and the crab stuffing was mushy with no real lump crab meat. On top of that, the service was below average. I brought in an outside thermal cup, which is usually not allowed, but after we were seated, the waitress approached me about it. I apologized and explained it was just my diabetic tea, and that I wouldn’t be drinking it since we were ordering drinks. She checked with the manager, then brought over a second manager to discuss it, which felt embarrassing and unnecessary. Both managers eventually said it was okay, but this situation marred the hospitality. We were tourists walking in after a long day, and this was not welcoming. The photos show the food I didn’t eat—I ordered the fish without sides and still couldn’t finish it.

Off The Hook Seafood offers good food and the waitress delivered excellent service. However, the restaurant only has one men’s and one women’s restroom, both of which clearly need updating. We were also told that the two men in our party couldn’t wait at the bar, yet when a group of four arrived and asked to wait there, the staff immediately allowed it—despite there being no change in available seating. This inconsistency was frustrating and left a bad impression, so we won’t be returning. Additionally, there is a $5 surcharge for onions or mushrooms on steak, which seemed unreasonable since we were told these toppings aren’t special ingredients but simply a matter of convenience. I also noticed a few other minor issues, common enough these days, that added to the overall disappointment. The menu had some appealing options, but these experiences overshadowed the visit.

Off The Hook Seafood delivered a flawless dining experience. Every dish on the menu was cooked to perfection. The hush puppies struck the ideal balance between crunchy and soft, the risotto was wonderfully creamy, and the crab cakes were delightfully delicate. The scallops were juicy, and the mahi melted in my mouth. Their cocktail sauce stood out as one of the freshest and best I’ve ever tasted. I have no complaints and would wholeheartedly recommend Off The Hook Seafood 10/10. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was both quick and attentive. With Off The Hook, you truly get what you pay for.
