I tried to make an order. Online ordering of the website did not work. telefon went straight to voice mail. tried an online app, “error” each of 3 separate tries. they stood at the switch and were ignored for 5 minutes. the waitress finally asked “Can I help?” and when I said, “going order” she said: “It will be a bit” and left. This is a nice little Chesapeake restaurant! If you go try there amazing happy hour featuring half off drafts from local brewery Big Ugly! And do not miss out on the amazing cheesecake! Some notes: we ordered the chimichurri chicken sticks and the chicken masala as our main course and the chicken and sauce amounts were good, but there was not enough rice or no rice at all. I recommend adding more rice to both these dishes which would really help. Seriously please add rice to both of those dishes. I was sad they were out of crab cakes.Service was good.Decor is somewhat lacking. Location is good but being in a strip mall takes away from the experience. This place deserves a small cabin type building with a fireplace. At least that’s the vibes I wants while eating.Over all will be back for cheesecake which I think the flavors rotate and happy hour!
Amazing local hidden gem ?! Friendly staff and incredible food. Smaller dining area and a couple servers but allows for a more personable experience. Reservations are better to ensure that you don't have to wait for a table but they do take walk in diners. If you have to wait, this place is WORTH it! Looking for fine dining in South Chesapeake? This place is worth the try for sure. Ive been coming here to eat for a couple years but haven't posted a review. I figured it was about time I did after yet another enjoyable experience!
We always have a fantastic dining experience when visiting Kapers. The small plates, cocktails, sangria pitchers and desserts make it a fun double date night. The whole team makes you feel like family and it’s a cozy place to relax and unwind. I recommend the lumpia, fried calamari, stir fry, the “BB King” steak, and chocolate mousse. It’s definitely a treat!
I ordered there special for the night, which was chicken teriyaki stir fry. It came out super cold, not an ounce of heat in the chicken. So they “remade it” and the food was warm but then came out with a sauce that it didn’t come on the first time. Terrible place, DO NOT recommend. Also super small and not comfortable.
