What Debra Gutekunst doesn't like about Court House Cafe:
We ordered the daily special of bbq chicken and shrimp. The chicken breast was the smallest I've ever seen and I cook alot of chicken. And it was so dry it was not edible. The shrimp and server were great but we ended up not eating most of the plate. Sending it back was not an option since we felt we would get the same back. Obviously precooked and sitting in a heater. Ordered the king prime rib with baked potatoes tonight. It was Devine, moist and cooked to my specifications and the portion was much more than anticipated, I'll be eating it for lunch on Monday.
Everything was great! Not one complaint. We gad to wait for a table, but that was just fine. It was worth the wait.
Brought my mother here for lunch. It looks amazing inside. Reminded me of the show cheers. Friendly, clean and welcoming. Not a very young crowd for lunch but that was fine as I was having lunch with mom. Food was very good. Menu seemed a little aged as well but again, food was tasty. I had a turkey melt and my mother had chicken salad. I feel like I would give this 5 stars if the menu was updated. Again, it was tasty, it just felt like I was in an old timer 's club. I enjoyed bringing my mother here but I wouldn 't come here with my friends or on a date with my husband.
My friend and I had not been here since the reopening. Everything looked great. Service and food excellent. Will was host on duty and very professional. I was impressed and can't wait to return.
Court House Cafe has become one of our go-to places when we want an evening out. Their selections cater to various diet needs, with large portions. The wait staff is always pleasant. My only complaint is that often the only table we can be offered is one of the high-tops and I am unable to sit at those due to physical constraints.
