Description

Nestled in the charming town of Chesaning, this Irish pub offers a warm atmosphere perfect for holiday gatherings. Patrons rave about the delicious Reuben sandwiches and the swift service from some bartenders, while others express frustration over inconsistent attentiveness. Though the establishment is cozy and inviting, with a jukebox and ample parking, the experience can be marred by occasional rudeness or delays in service, particularly during busy times. Despite these drawbacks, many guests appreciate the owners' personal touch and the welcoming vibe, making it a recommended stop when traveling through this delightful town.

We weren't too impressed. We always like to check out an Irish bar. Sometimes you win and sometimes someone is too big for their pants. This is a case of too big for your pants. It is overpriced. Their well liquors are Tito's and Crown Royal and you pay for it. The bartender was over her head, although very nice. The other customers were locals who came for NASCAR. I don't think they cared about higher end liquids either. I don't know if they serve food, because no one mentioned it. In our constant quest for authentic, local establishments, this one failed. Chesaning is a cute town and a great stop heading downstate from Up North, but we'll try another place next time.

The bartender provided very poor service. I had to wait 30 minutes for my drink and when we inquired about our orders, she acted as if we were inconveniencing her.

Good location in downtown. Street parking and a large back parking lot. Small side seating area, great on nights when the weather is nice. Owners are nice and always great my wife and I by name. Most nights they have a jukebox. On special occasions and holidays they will have a DJ. Rarely will they have live entertainment. I would recommend this place any time of the week, and anytime of day. Our favorite bar tender left, but the new ones are all nice.

Super friendly staff! Their chocolate over cherries specialty beer was fun and tasty. So was their Reuben sandwich. They have two pool tables but my buddy cleaned my clock with his queue stick during our game, so obviously my queue must have been defective? I 'm going with that story and sticking to it Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Corned Beef Sandwich

The bar itself is fantastic. That's where it ends. The food just wasn't very good. We had 2 staff members loud talking across the room with a couple of locals who were clearly intoxicated. This went on for 15+ minutes like no one else was there. Lots of foul language from both staff and drunk patrons. I won't be back, EVER! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
