From the cocktails and canapés to the wedding breakfast and delicious champagne truffles, everything was top-notch. H... read more My first time visiting V Lounge was quite impressive as soon as I walked in. The bar area was lovely, setting high expectations for the rest of my experience. However, no one escorted us to our table and we had to find it on our own, as it was the only one set up. Our waitress was friendly when she finally came out and asked if we were ready for starters. Unfortunately, two of the dishes were cold and had to be reheated. The mains were served in two separate rounds, with the rest of the food arriving 10 minutes later for no apparent reason as there were no other customers. The food was average, nothing exceptional. Desserts came at the end of the meal. The waitress seemed to be rushing around even though we were the only customers, leaving me wondering how they would manage with a full house. The night ended on a negative note when I asked for the bill and had to wait 10 minutes for it. The waitress then put on her coat and left without informing us how to pay. I eventually took the bill to the bar, where the bartender was rude and accused me of not paying the full amount. I pointed to the cash I had left on the bar which he had ignored, and he begrudgingly accepted the correct payment without an apology. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I was eager to leave as soon as possible.

I absolutely loved this place - it's very modern and has a wide selection of wines.
