Kfc - Cherwell
Kfc
Description
At a recent visit to KFC, guests encountered a spectrum of experiences ranging from disappointing food quality to commendable service. Many highlighted issues with underwhelming chicken, poorly seasoned sides, and missing items from orders. While some patrons praised the polite staff and efficient drive-thru service, others expressed frustration over long waits and cold meals. Despite the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and convenient location, recurring complaints about the food's preparation, including overused oil and inconsistent flavors, overshadowed the positives. As a result, several visitors indicated they would not return, leaving a lingering sense of dissatisfaction.

I am like the Tyrone Biggums of KFC... Colonel always serves up that finger-licking goodness, just wish the fries were more like Burger King's.
My wife and I had to file a complaint with health and hygiene after being sickened by the hot wings. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
I would give KFC Banbury 0 stars if I could. The service here is consistently laughable. I don't know whether to feel sorry for the staff or blame them. Every time I have visited, it has been a chaotic experience. My order is always wrong, and when I asked the manager for my free mini fillet, she didn't even know what it was. A staff member at the drive-thru was rude and huffed at me while handing me the bag of food without informing me it was ready. It feels like I am an inconvenience every time I visit. You can never count on receiving what you ordered; it's always a gamble. Once, in the drive-thru, I ordered 2 box meals and received 3 boxes of chicken wings instead. When I went back in, the staff admitted they had lost my actual order. It's both frustrating and unhygienic for a restaurant to mishandle food in this way.
I'm never one to complain, working in retail myself, and this isn't about the food or the chain. Near closing I visited the store for food and after getting home, noticed I had dropped my airpod case. Getting back to the store 10 minutes past the hour to see if they had it, the cleaner signed they were closed and then completely ignored my existence, whilst I was still knocking with her behind the glass. I then managed to get the attention of those behind the till, who then gawked at me repeating they're closed. This happened for 15 minutes with nobody wanting to budge just staring blankly..I eventually got someone who opened the back door, I had to tell them 3 times I had lost something as each response was they were closed. He never came back out. I got attention of someone again who told me they couldn't find it. I'm 100% sure they found it and binned it and they didn't care even at all. I've never been genuinely this awestruck by a bunch of people before. The absolute ignorance and reluctance to open one door for upto 20 minutes is outstanding.. but atleast they reassured me the store was closed!. Buffling. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
