I feel at ea... read more I absolutely adore this pub. The owners, Tom and Nicky, are welcoming and thoughtful. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy. I feel at ease bringing my 11-year-old here for a delicious meal or a refreshing drink and a friendly game of pool. I highly recommend this cozy, family-friendly pub.

It is a spacious pub run by a friendly family who I think have recently taken over. Yesterday, my family and I went for a roast dinner, and it was the best roast I have had in a while. The service was excellent, with smiling staff and very reasonably priced. I would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Our friends from Switzerland had a great time and loved the beet. Very pleasant landlords and drinks at reasonable prices. Would recommend and will visit again to sample the food served between thur- sat.
