This country house hosts a fantastic restaurant. There is no menu (they ask if there are any food intolerances when you book and carefully work around them , and everything they cook is local, seasonal and fresh. We went on Mother's Day and the restaurant was packed. The all female team is friendly and quick to respond to any requests when we were there roast lamb was served with the traditional mint sauce (home made , I'm not a big fan and requested redcurrant jelly instead. It appeared quickly and was shared with several other tables who share my antipathy : Everything was served with a little explanation and was fully delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for eating, and would love to stay in the attached rooms the scenery is beautiful!

What a fantastic meal we had. 6 courses of elegantly served meals that tasted wonderful. Hosts were fabulous, the views are spectacular. If your in the area seek this place out. Can't recommend it highly enough

Absolutely unbelievable, a real gem. The food is amazing. We have eaten in Michelin star restaurants and the food is easily as good. Ali Jo are amazing catering for me being Sin Gluten. Loved it. Theres only one place to stay in that region. Thanks for everything. Ate outside evey day. Totally felt like a real luxury as it was a present for my 60th birthday.
