What Ava Ward likes about Coach and Horses:
The Coach & Horses in Chertsey is a Fullers pub in the traditional style. Great real ales, as you would expect from a Fuller's house; limited menu but all very well cooked and presented; great 'local' character. Highly recommended. View all feedback. read moreThe Coach & Horses in Chertsey offers a homely and cozy atmosphere, perfect for large groups and families looking for a Sunday lunch pub. While the interior is charming and there is ample parking, some guests found the food to be underwhelming. The Sunday roasts were criticized for undercooked roast potatoes, and desserts like sticky toffee pudding and brownies fell short of expectations. Despite the disappointing meal, the pub's traditional character and great real ales were highlighted as positives. Overall, while the Coach & Horses may not be a top choice for Sunday lunch, it still offers a classic pub experience worth trying.
