Great Food... home cooked... wonderful staff...down home GOOD !...Chuck W....Troy,NY
First of all, it is in Cherry Valley, which automatically gets them three stars just for location alone a very nice uncommercialised small town with much history including a massacre centuries ago surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and active agricultural fields. The village is just off of rt. 20, an early turnpike with small villages and hamlets along the way. Coyote's Cafe is a little diner with standard basic food (cash only) at modest prices. People are very friendly here, food prep is fast, and daily specials are offered. It's a nice clean place. The only thing I would change is the spring on the screen door. The spring is strong and tight and the door slams like blazes. But don't let that bother you; none of the locals even notice it. Oh yes, there is pleasant sidewalk cafe seating too. Give this place a try!
Always the place 2 go... comfort food galore! Amber is friendly, fabulous funny! A close, quick delicious place 2 go w/ my grandbabies /or family... even 4 a breakfast/ lunch takeout!
Don't be fooled by the reviews written by by friends and family. This place is bad. All the staff have a bad attitude and it shows in the service and food. Often out of ingredients and that's when there (open which is not often). I'm a cherry valley local and will never eat here again. Tourists stay away!
