Great place. I was passing through on a work trip and this place came up on GMaps. Glad I picked this spot. Hands down best steak omelet I’ve had, ever. Good coffee. Service was incredibly friendly and prompt. I spoke with a young man who I believe is one of the owners. Great overall experience. Even the customers, clearly several are regulars, are super friendly. Will save this on my maps should I come back this way... View all feedback.
What Deb Schwebke doesn't like about Cherry Valley Cafe:
Typical diner food. Been here many times and the food has met expectations. This particular visit the scrambled eggs and the thin sausage was burnt. Good customer service was lacking. Told waitress but did not acknowledge the complaint. Waitress could’ve at least told the cook or the owner could’ve come and apologized. The corn beef and cabbage and the Rubin sandwich are the best I’ve had ever. Unfortunately I’ll wai... View all feedback.

Had a great late breakfast here with some friends as we drove up to Madison from Chicago. Tammy our server was welcoming and friendly. She kept my coffee cup full and we quickly had our food in front of us. We had good portions of tasty food at a reasonable price. Just what we needed.
I have been going to this place for over 10 years, at least once a week… Service is fantastic, great local diner… Food is very reasonably priced… very friendly staff.
Cherry Valley Cafe staff provided excellent, attentive service, a warm family atmosphere, very good breakfasts to me my companions. This small-town restaurant is conveniently found on the main street and features all-day breakfast, as well as lunch dinner fare. My 2 large pancakes were served fresh hot with the rest of the meal. The coffee--and I am very picky about good coffee--was freshly brewed, strong enough, flavorful. Jennifer, our waitress, was pleasant kept checking in on our satisfaction. We were then surprised that so did the owner, a busboy, another waitress! They have definitely won over our group, who will be back. Maybe I'll try the homestyle biscuits gravy next time.
