Description

Nestled in CHEROKEE, this restaurant offers generous portions and flavorful dishes like creamy chicken pesto, blackened catfish, and standout burgers. Many diners praise the friendly, attentive service and welcoming atmosphere, especially in the outdoor bar area. Unique starters, including fried mushrooms and house-made IPA, add to the appeal. While some guests have experienced slow service and inconsistent food quality, others found the meals exceptional. However, issues with accommodating service animals and occasional management discomfort have been noted. Overall, the spot shines for those seeking hearty, tasty fare with a casual vibe, though improvements in consistency and staff training would enhance the experience.

Amazing! Amazing! Food was delicious! We had fried mushrooms and fried pickles for appetizers. Our entrees were creamy chicken pesto and country fried steak! Flavors were so tasty. One of the best meals that I have reviewed in a while without absolutely nothing bad to say! I would give 10 stars! Everyone was so nice! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Passing through and wanted lunch. After a quick search of food in area opted to give this place a try. Place was busy due to the traffic coming from parkway since I40 was shut down. Sat immediately at a high top. The menu offers a little wider selection than regular bar food, this is what drew us in. We started with chicken livers as an appetizer. They were good just fried a little longer than we prefer them. My wife did not like the dipping sauce, I was ok with it though it was not my favorite. Now to the entrees. I had the p-nut crusted trout and it was awesome. It came with mashed potatoes potato’s and fried Brussels sprouts. I cleaned my plate. The wife opted for fried pork chops and substituted Brussels sprouts for the cabbage. Hers was excellent also. Over all it was simple food cooked perfectly in our opinion. Well worth the stop and we will be on our list . Did not try any of the beers since I was driving but a few sounded really good. Stopped here on the way into the Great Smoky Mountains. I got the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich. That thing was massive! It was messy but good. Didn’t try any of their beers but the food was great and delicious. Service was always quick and friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
