I then went next door to Wendy's and noticed people inside Bojangles. Seeing many cars still pulling up and leaving without food, I called Bojangles and was told their system was down but is now working again. I watched cars approach the drive-thru only to leave empty-handed. Bojangles should have placed a note on the speaker or had someone inform drivers that they couldn't take orders from the menu at that time.

She didn’t greet me or provide a receipt, and after handing me my food, I thanked her, but she simply closed the window and turned away. I hadn’t been there in a while, and I definitely won’t be returning.

However, I encountered an issue with the drink cups that had gnats on the outside. I had to return two cups due to this. I'm quite particular about both the food I consume and the cleanliness of my drinkware. This is something that should be monitored closely because we can't know what pests might be carrying with them. Cleanliness is crucial. I examined my food thoroughly, and it was fine. I understand that fast food restaurants can get busy and strive to serve customers promptly, but it's equally important to ensure that clean items are provided. It's not just a matter of a gnat on a cup; as one employee mentioned to me, it's about a customer wanting a clean cup free of anything inside or out—just the beverage.

If you order more than one ite... read more This is definitely the worst franchise in the entire Bojangles chain. It doesn’t even deserve the one star I reluctantly gave it. If you order more than one item, the chances are high that your order will be wrong. I've ordered chicken biscuits and received sausage biscuits wrapped in chicken biscuit wrappers. I’ve asked for two chicken biscuits and got a bag containing one chicken biscuit and a bacon biscuit instead. It almost seems like they take a game out of it. Additionally, the walk-in has been closed for over two years, so if you need to get your order fixed, you’re stuck waiting in the drive-thru line again. This location also refuses to accept Bojangles coupons and doesn’t honor the special promotions advertised on TV. Cheraw is surrounded by towns with great Bojangles franchises, making it frustrating that our local one isn't up to par. Save yourself the trouble and just head over to Hardee's instead.
