We... read more We were stopping at the Welsh gate house and Millers arms was only a 10 minute walk. Staff and locals were friendly and helpful and atmosphere was welcoming. We went in on the Wed night and Thurs night both nights meals were delicious. The menu was great from pub classics to other great choices. If we lived in the area this would definitely be our local Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Owner extremely h... read more Stayed in our motorhome as part of the Brit Stops scheme, called ahead to reserve a space. On arrival our spot was held for us to park easily. Owner extremely helpful and friendly. We checked out the menu beforehand, lots of options to choose from. Sometimes the more choice, the quality can suffer...but not in their case. I had the sirloin with all trimmings and my partner had the gammon with melted cheese. The portions were huge, in fact we both had chips left over (lucky dogs) and my partner has never not been able to finish a meal since I've known him!! Of course the only downside was we were too full to indulge in a dessert ...maybe next time. Staff all friendly and efficient, nice atmosphere,great food at reasonable prices, such excellent value.
