Wenshu Temple - Chengdu

I was in November 2019. It was difficult for me to eat well in Chinese when the language was unknown. unique place in the area where I could taste without fear several local dishes.

We arrived in chengdu to an unexpected rain so we were happy that this was close to our hotel. we arrived shortly after lunch so that the buffet was finished and were directed upwards, it was a nice room, but ice cold with the wind through the open windows. there was only another foreign couple there as well as we, we tried to order from the tablet, but made a mistake, we called to help the waitress, but they misunderstood and just processed the order as it was. After we were early on a flight without a meal we were ravenous, so were thrilled by the reviews of this place. the food looked great when it arrived, but unfortunately no big aromen. the sweet and sour lion head mushrooms were only very blande, there was a fake meat (unusually ordered) that was not great, a sweet dish and the filled lotus root, which is usually one of our favorite dishes, but this was missing again in any recognizable taste, the lotus root itself was hard and the sosse was simply sharp, not spicy tasty. it felt as though very little carefree or attentiveness went into the food departure is really disappointed.

Had the buffet here during the visit of the contrary cheap, tasty and it was the best choice I had made since I was on my own. great opportunity to get a lot of dressed without going to a restaurant and order a million things that I cannot finish. a great way to taste the local cuisine!

The sweet and acidic lion head mushrooms were only very blande, there was a fake meat (unusually ordered), which was not great, a vegetable dish and the filled lotus root, which is usually one of our favorite dishes, but this was again missing in any recognizable taste, the lotus root itself was hard and the sauce was simply sharp, not spicy tasty. It felt as though very little care or attention went to the diet is really disappointed.
