Water Lotus - Chengdu

Wonderful tasty food! Most important they serve quickly! And you can buy a lot of vegan stuff here for cooking, like soya meat and vegan Hot Pot base. They sell absolutely best soya yoghurt!

If you want to experience a real authentic lunch / dinner, do not skip this place! each member of the family/friends will find something they like here, whether it is traditional Chinese dishes or interpretation for a western. I tried many dishes and they were all great. they also sell homemade snacks and ingredients like sweet yogurt, mock meat, soy products and more. eating: 1. vegan ham with sweet sauce: really good taste and texture, advised to eat with something besides, so that the sauce does not feel too strong. 2. dumpling: nice decent, some of my friends did not like the taste of the filling, but most of us liked it. 3. buns with the side filling the buns are dreamy soft, and was a great thing after they did not find vegan brot for months in china. the page filling that comes with it was a bit too salty, but on the right amount ran great with the rolls, and the production process of the bite is fun. 4. chicken wing: very good texture, fills like real chicken. the taste is a bit too sweet for a salty plate, but the crisp and texture makes for it. 5. Sausage: beautiful fake meat bits beside some others, but defenatlly not something to get full. we liked the texture and taste as it was smokey. 6. Homemade yogurt: perfect! sweet, light and so comforting, especially for a long search for vegan milk products in China. bring them back some home/the hotel if they have a fridge to keep them. do not skip this restaurator! cheap prices and delicious food, with a very welcoming crew and take them snacks and ingredients options.

This is a nice little inexpensive place with a friendly atmosphere, near Wuhou Temple. Decent, tasty food. We ordered 3 dishes, all contained mock meat. The staff speaks some English and is very willing to help. There's a picture-menu.

All dishes are vegetarian. Very tasteful. There's a liquid angel-speaking woman who can advise well. Big menu card.

This is a rustic restaurant that really produces a lot of effort to make delicious food and offer a wonderful experience. the whole food was delicious and we ordered the small portions of everything (except a big ghee tea) and it was a lot of eating.
