Gaststube Torwache - Chemnitz

I had reserved Mrs Hutschenreuter for Christmas and had to change the reservation shortly before Christmas. That was all professional. On site we didn't have to wait long for our food and served everything at the same time. The nice waiter even discussed our special wishes with the cook, the food has also tasted excellent. We were very happy with everything and are very happy to come back.

Rarely so much unkindness experienced in such a short time.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Schlosshotel Klaffenbach. On Friday we drank coffee in the beer garden of the Torwache and then ate dinner in the inn. We had a fantastic view from the beer garden to the castle. There was then a very tasty Swedish ice cup for coffee. The egg liqueur of the ice cup made appetite for alcohol, so we stayed and drank so much wine and beer. When the sun slept behind the castle and it became cooler, we changed to the inside where we had reserved a table. The guest room is very nicely designed, clean and cozy. In the evening bread there were rabbits and pork roasts as well as some beer and wine. The waiter was always attentive so that there was no wish. The food was excellent, delicious and warm. The glasses were always clean, the beer and the wine were well cooled and tasted. The prices for a meal were just under twenty euros, which is ok with quality. Conclusion: Very recommended, we come back.
