The food was very tasty and the portions were quite large. Unfortunately, the service was rather unfriendly and didn't bat an eyelid.
I was here several years ago. I didn't remember it being quite so cozy, but that might be because the room we sat in was a bit quieter and more charmingly decorated. If you like a rustic atmosphere, this is the place for you. The food is decent, tasty, but nothing special that would make you say you absolutely have to come back. But it's perfectly fine for a stop with your regulars or with the grandparents! No frills, nothing modern or extravagant. Just good, solid home cooking. But fresh and delicious. The portions are huge!! The prices are more than reasonable for that. The service, however, doesn't seem particularly attentive and could definitely use a smile now and then.
We were a group of eight for lunch. The service was very attentive and friendly. The wait was relatively short, as everything is freshly prepared. The food was of outstanding quality and very generous portions. I had sauerbraten with three dumplings. Highly recommended!
Good value for money. Delicious food, large portions.
The food is always worth a visit. Service with the restaurant alone was a bit overwhelmed and very taciturn. It's a shame because that would make everything perfect overall. Personally, I think extra sauce for almost 4 euros is a bit overpriced. Despite all that, it's worth a visit.

Short-term reservation on 02.9.23 . Thanks to the entire team. Service had everything under control,Souverän. Food was absolute. We felt very comfortable. Very recommended.
The restaurant is very well maintained and cozy. I ate a very tasty tasty sour roast. The food is really great and the cook is a professional. Other restaurants can cut off a slice.
Pleasant restaurant with a loving outdoor area. Operation very attentive. Eating is good. Small comments for the kitchen. I wouldn't load the plates so full. That's well meant, but it was too much for ALL. Smaller portion, optionally in XXL, then the guests may also be allowed a starter/aftertaste from the map.
Excellent kitchen. Very nice operation. Reservation smoothly. Parking available. Very nice, telephone contact. Very nice interior design, as well as outdoors. Very clean and appealing. During my next visit to Chemnitz, I am very happy to visit the Oak Pub and look forward to another, very lovingly compiled dish. Best regards, Marco Meyer
The food is very good and plentiful. The service is nice and the boss cooks. Since this was already the subject, it takes a little longer to put the food on the table, but there is a sign at the entrance. Who can read so clearly in the advantage

Very nice service, good rich food. Surrounded with a fence that is ideal for small children. The place would be perfect if there were. a swing or a sandbox. Then the parents could eat even more relaxed. .
The inn is really stylishly furnished. No cheap decoration, but most of them were perfectly harmoniously matched. We didn't have to wait the bean long for food and our drinks. That was cool when we had a huge cabbage steam tonight. The staff worked fast, well maintained and friendly. It's always nice and we had a wonderful afternoon here.
We had a family party with 22 guests. The 70th anniversary of my sister. The table was lovingly decorated and there was a personal menu from the restaurant. Flott already had his drink. The staff was very attentive, so nobody was thirsty. Then came the food we had chosen from the map. There were about 7 different wishes. Within 7 minutes all had their food. It was plentiful, tasty, hot and well dressed. Thank you. Go on.
Great small outdoor area to enjoy food and evening. There are plenty of scavengers and tastes. Price performance fits here.
Something I really recommend is the desserts. My husband and I were there for the second time and tried something new every visit. The tables were perfectly cleaned and the chairs were particularly comfortable. The staff worked hard, clean and friendly. My husband and I are absolutely positively surprised. We both will definitely return.

Cozy and stylish ambience. Good atmosphere. very good extensive food offer is always tailored to the guests (vegetarian) service quickly and carefully. we like to come here.
Always a good and tasty food. It's always made right away. No prefabricated food from industry.
We were waiting today at the Oak Pub Essen, absolutely disappointing, 30 min for drinks order, 25 min later we could finally order the food, then we had to say and write 1.5 hours and that with child and Uroma, the most beautiful we were asked if the food for the child should be packed at the end, we answered with yes, when we went and ask about the packed food, just that is bad, that is already disappointed. Never again, eating in itself was also nix for which I would have to go to eat, that's too home.
