Amber Chemnitz Park

The Amber Hotel is a mid-class hotel outside Chemnitz, close to the Chemnitz Center. In the immediate vicinity there is a beautiful tennis hall and of course the center for shopping. For traveling or similar, the hotel is too far from the center unusable.

Not my first visit to Chemnitz, but this time I'm looking for a good hotel. Although located somewhat outside, directly at the huge shopping center “Chemnitz Park”. Parking? There is no problem at all – in front of the hotel there is a parking lot. And the hotel also includes extra parking in front of the house. If we are already at the service – unusual, but very pleasant, bicycles are available for guests. These are located directly in front of the entrance. Great. Very friendly welcome in a large hall. There are real keys for the rooms – something antique – but I don't mind. The room on the 4th floor overlooking the highway. After my last, rather bad experience, I immediately search for the darkening option for the window and find it easily. Solid room facility, however, I have to pay € 5 for ́s W Lan. At a rate of €55 incl. Breakfast is not a problem. The room and also the small bathroom are very clean. The bed invites you to sleep – but the TV is quite small. A few centimeters more would not have cost the world. But it's just that. In the bathroom I miss the small bottles with shower gel. That's what I find big donors. Environmentally friendly is definitely that. Luckily I find cream in my cultural bag. In the cellar I find the sauna later night. Well heated. No special touch. In addition, a 2nd steam cabin. It's okay. Worth mentioning the restroom. Very beautiful. In bright blue. An electric kettle is available and Eilles tea bags invite you to tea. This service is not often found. The pink towels, which are available for use in the sauna, are just as rare. Cooling outside is not possible here. I also lack newspapers or other readings. That's how I can really relax. Maybe that's what you want... The next morning breakfast: a very large room, in direct connection with the entrance foyer, does not necessarily ensure a good atmosphere. The service is good, fast, accommodating and attentive. A plus. The buffet leaves hardly any wishes. The rolls are of good quality. There's nothing missing. Except bananas. I can't find them. For apple. Also healthy. Juices, muesli, egg. And coffee is served in the box at the table. It's gonna be okay. No surprises at check out. As a small doping for the day there is a stick with peppermint bonuses. Nice. Conclusion: Hotel about 5km from the centre of Chemnitz. Not the best location, but with good access to the highway. I don't think you can reach by public transport.Good breakfast. Very clean. And invite a friendly service, at least me, to further visits.
