When a staff member 'shrugs' when he's informed an order is wrong, and does nought bout it, we go from average to poor on review.Fact was, no one CHECKED to see... read more When a staff member 'shrugs' when he's informed an order is wrong, and does nought bout it, we go from average to poor on review.Fact was, no one CHECKED to see if our food and drink was 'ok'...it wasn't, so we sought them out, to no avail...an overcharge for the wrong one not dealt with.food was tasty albeit small serving, a burrito with a tiny salsa and nachos on the side twenty bucks included that incorrect drink order = poor value.not in a rush to return to THIS eatery, but luvved Chemainus old town...and the area is beautiful, I hadn't been there for half a century!

It... read more What a wonderful day today at the Cafe. I took my mother in law and my son to the restaurant for their special mother's day buffet. We were not disappointed! It was great and the service was excellent! My 9 year old son love the chocolate fountain especially. It was a nice surprise to recieve a rose at the end of the service! Thank you to the staff and owner for putting so much effort into making our Mother's day even more special!!

I would recommend this place not only for the café service, but also for the gastronomy. can wait to pamper from calgary. ty maple lane caffe and keep them the good work
