The presentation is lovely, with extra care taken to make things look delightful. I have eaten there twice now and the freshness of the ingredients is outstanding and the service very good. My one little criticism would be that the food needs a little more 'zing'. As I say you can tell it is fresh and very good quality, but can tend towards the slightly bland. It only needs a slight change and it would be fantastic. View all feedback.
Great food, great ambience, lovely friendly staff. Jo's constantly evolving menu keeps thing interesting. Coffee is very good, and served with delightful little shortbread biscuits...yum !
We've just been in for a family lunch and were very happy with both food and the service. They were extremely busy as it was mother's day. The warm lamb salad was very good, also their coffee is great.
Have been here many times since it opened for both Breakfast and Lunch. Lots of good and yummy options! Love the Pulled Pork Benedict and the Popcorn Calamari. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu!
Taken here by a friend who's become a regular visitor since the old Milk Bar was replaced with Chino Co. I've since vIsited several times in the last month for coffees, breakfast and lunch and it's already become a firm favourite. As it's owned by the same guy who brought us the (good old) Kicko and Rustica Cucina my expectations were high and I'm pleased to say that it didn't disappoint. The coffees are excellent, smooth, strong and creamy. The food is terrific, with stand outs being the Pulled Pork Benedict and the Popcorn Calamari. Prices are consistent with cafes in Bayside but the portions here are substantial. A final word for the staff who have always been wonderfully friendly, engaging and efficient. Highly recommended.
Called in for a sit down coffee, sat outside which was very pleasant. The beans are from Zest. The coffee was acceptable.
