The kebabs were excellent, and the fish looked very crispy and well-cooked, as did the chips. I didn't get a chance to try them, but the prices are great for such high quality. I'll definitely come back to try the wine and sample more of the menu because everything looks really nice and clean.

As my party and I entered the restaurant, three notable things happened. First, I was greeted by Sam, who is simply known as "the happiest man in the world." Despite long days spent in the heat of the fryer while managing a busy personal life, Sam immediately makes you feel like his best friend. His customer service is genuine—he strives to get to know you and will remember you on your next visit. Second, the enticing aroma of delicious food filled the air, reminiscent of a classic Disney scene where the scent of freshly baked goods wafts toward you from a neighboring window. It enveloped us, drawing our attention towards the counter. Third, I unfortunately noticed the absence of golden, circular fried octopus in the display. It felt like a catastrophe, a situation that could only be compared to a far-fetched reason for a geopolitical crisis. With a sinking feeling, I asked if they had any of the fried calamari. Time seemed to stand still as I sensed the incoming disappointment in Sam’s eyes before he responded. Unfortunately, the supply chain had failed them, and local fishermen were unable to deliver the much-loved dish. Desperate for another great option, I scanned the menu, when Sam suddenly informed me about his freshly delivered cod. A British classic, fish and chips. Before I could even convey my excitement, he figuratively put his finger to his lips, signaling that this was a must-try. Once we'd placed our orders and settled the bill, I realized that Sam worked at lightning speed, efficiently engaging us with stories about American football and Diablo. It takes a master to excel in their craft, not only performing their duties flawlessly but also adapting to the needs of their customers with ease and charm. As we finally received our meals packed in foam boxes and headed back home, anticipation built within me. When we opened the boxes, the steam rising from the freshly cooked cod hit me like a wave. My eyes widened, not merely from the heat, but from the sight of the beautifully golden fish. I was smitten, though cautious. Could the flavor live up to this visual masterpiece? With my fork in hand, I cut into the cod, hearing the satisfying crunch of its crispy exterior giving way to the tender interior. I couldn't resist any longer—I took a generous bite. This led to two mistakes: first, in my eagerness, I forgot to let the food cool, leading to a painful burn in my throat; and second, I described the fish in such indulgent terms that my friends now harbor a hint of envy. However, to slow down and let it cool would have felt like an insult to such divine food. A lengthy nap on the couch later seemed a small price to pay for the joy I experienced. As I wrap up this account—limited by my word count, not my enthusiasm—I must say I returned several times and continued to enjoy not just the meals but also Sam's remarkable hospitality. While I was disappointingly frustrated not to have had my fried squid, I found plenty of options that were just as good, if not better. I can’t wait to return!
