50 minutes waiting for the order. had not visited in years and if everything is over today, it would have had to leave longer. a really terrible experience that will not be repeated
The rodney is a beautiful scandal over the renter and the renter. I've never met a couple of annoying people. as a house in a pub they need to teach how to welcome their customers. I think the renter, whatever, must learn how to smile. it is actually more difficult not to smile. you were too busy doing a crossword words to even notice me about the bar, so I had to literally call to be served. my jackenkartoffel (which I had to order 2.5 hours before eating) was served before I even came to the restaurant so I had to send it back to be warmed up again. it wasn't even very nice. the halat was okay. other people eating in our party was unforgettable, but for the wrong reasons! another drink on the afternoon at 2 will not win it either. I don't want to say I don't go back to the rodney. I am glad that it is not my local, what by the way the white lion at fobbing is a pub that I can recommend and a real contrast to the rodney in any sight.
A group of us visited after a long walk. we booked the table in advance, but had to book unusually even what we wanted to eat. I thought that was weird, but at least we didn't have to wait hours for dinner. when we arrived, how some more valued it had to do, so they might try to improve it. unfortunately, despite the arrival shortly before the booked time, a large part of the eating lukewarm was best after probably cooked earlier and left there until we arrived. one of our parties had served their meal before they even settled! the staff was incredibly rude and unpleasant, cloged tablesets and cutlery because we had the boldness to sit differently as they had laid the table. did they even refuse to serve one of us half a prise on 2pm “because they were closed!” the door sign said they closed at 2.45 clock! takes it 45 minutes to serve half a pint? eating was best easy. burgers were served in simple unbuttered rolls, which were stale edgeline and were accompanied by literally six barely cooked chips. we do not shave back and would like everyone who wants a decent meal and a warm welcome to stay well away from the place.
Visited on Saturday with three friends and our three dogs, waited over 1.2 hours for our food to arrive. It did state in the menu that there could be a little wait to due the fresh food prepared, good grief how hard is it to...make sandwiches and a couple of meals, which believe me were NOT prepared fresh (and they were vile) and the chips !!! wow inedible to say the least unless you want to have a visit to thr dentist. I have had better food in a greasy spoon. I am sorry but this pub needs some staff/cleaning (toilets were filthy) and the landlord needs to learn some manners. BASIL FAWLTY springs to mind !!! AVOID at all costs !
