it was an excellent trip in the team room. the people were kind. that was delicious. the prices were very reasonable. you could either sit inside or outside. the selection of dessert cake was very impressive. we were spoiled for the election. the Bakewell dart was made home. it was sweet, damp and melted on the back. What Tim Surtees doesn't like about The Lordship Tea Room:
Wouldn't recommend as waited to be seated and then after 15 minutes still no one had come to take our order, i wouldnt mind if they were busy but there was a handful of customers, so we left and went somewhere else where they appreciated there customers View all feedback.
Lovely tea room with friendly staff. Food always good.

Working very hard; did not have time to stop and listen. Food was very good and came in a timely manner but it seemed quite frantic. Service was courteous.
The staff was friendly and the food was good, although the selection was somewhat limited.
I had a delightful Sunday treat at this restaurant. I enjoyed an onion bhaji wrap with Tiptree mango chutney, a cheese toasted sandwich with brie and hot gooseberry chutney. For dessert, we shared a warm scone with cream and jam (cream first, jam second).
