I was served by a young girl named Libby, a very lovely bartender, made for a very pleasant experience
Masters of their Craft! Excellent food and so much we couldn't eat it all. Will go back again and again!
Had a couple of meals recently at the Beehive. Steak pie was large and full of meat. Fish and chips were also decent quality Beer was well kept. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Generally good experience
Visited with a few friends and was very disappointed in my meal. I had a pie which was still frozen in the middle! My friend had a sandwich she was also not particularly impressed. Sent my food back, the lady who served us didn't seem to care like this was not unusual Such a shame as visited here for fish and chips and roast dinners on several occasions and it has been faultless, but it appears to have changed hands since. We left shortly after and chose to eat at the stores instead which was delicious! Definitely will not be rushing back that's for sure!!
We stopped on our way to the coast to have a quick drink but then decided to have Sunday lunch. I chose lamb and my husband went for the mixed meat (lamb, beef, gammon and turkey) it came with carrots, peas, broccoli, cauliflower cheese, parsnips, roast potatoes, stuffing, sausage and the biggest Yorkshire pudding I have ever had. The serving of meat was huge and everything was well cooked and of good quality. The price was incredibly reasonable all that plus 2 large glasses of wine and a lemonade for £35.70. If we had had our grandchildren with us they could have been fed from our plates. Great value.
