Every time I have visited, the place has been bustling with people enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. Although we didn't indulge in any desserts this time, I can vouch for the deliciousness of their Victoria sandwich, carrot cake, and brownies from past experiences. Their brownies, in particular, are a must-try! The cakes are all beautifully displayed for you to choose from. Additionally, they serve wine, and my daughter particularly enjoys their rose wine. Overall, this café is truly excellent.
The charming Sweet Pea Cafe is located on the outskirts of the city. Upon arrival, the cafe was bustling with the happy chatter of patrons enjoying all it has to offer. We had made a reservation for the afternoon and were promptly seated. This family-run cafe has the wonderful advantage of attentive and welcoming staff who truly make you feel at home. The women working there even took note of my dietary restrictions and served up a lovely afternoon tea. My friend and I spent hours chatting with them, ensuring we had everything we needed and enjoying more drinks. After our delightful afternoon, we couldn't resist taking some of their delicious baked goods home with us. I must also mention that we had a young baby with us, who was accommodated without any issue. The cafe owners and guests were so friendly and understanding, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere. A true gem of a cafe that I hope receives the support it deserves from our community!
Such a cute little café. Perfect for cake and afternoon tea. I was just there for a coffee but also had a vegan scone and was fab.
Very cute little tea room in Chelmsford, minutes from the town centre. Delicious food, homemade cakes and reasonably priced. Would return.
This is a wonderful little restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. It's a hidden gem with a lovely garden, clean and well-lit. I highly recommend it.
