Sofra - Chelmsford

Friend had received a groupon voucher for people to taste this restaurant. she looked good at the dress and had beautiful decoration inside.....and this is as "the fight started". I said quite abruptly, they did not accept groupon and had canceled a few weeks ago...despite it only bought and booked online last week. the manager had a similar disappointment and simply repeated the same over and over we get no money from groupon! well, we have stayed and eaten, but must say clearly under the wut with the eating. in the environment there are better Turkish restaurants. so the manager may not get money from groupon, but there is now something else he will not get our money again and again!

It was only average Turkish food. neither great nor bad. service is good. very quiet place. I'm not in a hurry to come back here.

We ate here random, it was very quiet what we wanted, the service was good/fast and served with a smile.

Sitting here for hours and only having dinner. we're a party and apart from another couple, the only group here is. they have brought us a free round drinks as compensation, but it is not to cut as we already had one. it's ridiculous. I am all for paying for what we had and for a mcd (I am that desperate) but was outdated. the waiter said the main course would be mins max, but that was before mins. kill me now!

Service was very poor and as for the meal the meats were all cold when served. Complained but feel on deaf ears I think. The joke about it was we were a party of and possibly the only people in there so they weren't...run of there feet??? Never again
