Despite some hiccups, the food quality was generally good, with dishes like steamed mussels and roast beef receiving praise. The hotel offers a good range of starters and a dessert table to die for. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making visitors feel welcome. While some minor issues like slow service and empty dining rooms were noted, overall, the County Hotel is a solid choice for a meal out.
Saphir Restaurant: quiet on arrival with atmosphere lived later, excellent service, food, wine list, value for money. Impressed!
Great time here for afternoon tea. The staff were there with our special Essenes and helped me with small sandwiches and milk for my young boy along with a coloring in pack food was amazing! Love the cream cheese and mint sandwiches!!
The food was nice. The service was just poor. They tried, but it was like everyone just started and had no idea.
The food at The County Hotel is great (I had the pan roasted salmon with potatoes that was excellent), but there was absolutely no atmosphere on both occasions that I recently dined there. (Maybe it will become more business later in the evening).
Excellent food, freshly cooked and highly enjoyable. Only criticism is the place lacks atmosphere.
