What Abby Walker doesn't like about Bourgee Chelmsford:
Starters were ok but steaks were dry and lacking in flavour. Sauces (peppercorn chimmichuri) were bitter and again lacking in flavour. Don't know how they can justify £32 per steak for what seems to be bog standard meat cooked pretty poorly. Left hungry and £110 out of pocket View all feedback.

Our waitress was Rugile, who remembered us from our last visit and was very attentive without being in any way overbearing. The restaurant always has a really lovely buzz about it. The food is both exceptional and exceptional value. And even if we haven’t been there for awhile, the warmth of welcome is always generous. I also like the fact that you get to the time to enjoy your meal without being hurried. Also, the layout of the restaurant is such that you have space to enjoy your food without being crowded by other diners. We’ve been going to Cote for years And have never once been disappointed.
