Good bar selection, we both had local draft beers, also ordered some fried pickles and hush puppies to share. The fried pickles were so good with the dipping sauce, the hush puppies could have used a bit more flavor. For entrees we had blackened chicken with shrimp and chicken n' biscuits. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm. The host was nice and helpful throughout our experience. However, I was shocked to see the establishment had not been cleaned. There were crumbles etc still on various tables the floor had not been swept. There was little soap left in the bathroom dispenser and no paper towels. I order the gumbo-laya. It was decent. My friend ordered the challenger burger……the presentation of the burger was great. However, it had a hair on it so it was not eaten. We received an order of shrimp tacos that were okay. Overall not the greatest experience and would not come back.
By far my favorite place to eat! The food is AMAZING, and the service is even better!
Fantastic atmosphere and amazing staff, owner support of customers and staff ,always there to lend a hand.
The food is good here but I bought 3 whiskeys and they charged an extra $6.00 for my drinks because they were on the rocks. My wife ordered 2 tall deep eddy and lemon and they charged $3.00 extra for water. I've never been anywhere that charged for water or ice! If we ever go and eat there it'll be just take out. We'll have our beverages somewhere else.
Great service. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They had lots of good southern dishes for a New York State restaurant.I will be back for sure.
