Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, and the other restaurants in the town were full. They do not take credit cards, which you won't know until it is time to pay. Service was ok, and the soup and cod were average too. The server and staff were nice and accommodating to me and my family. This is right under the beautiful bridge, and next to the water. It is good if the other, better places to eat are full.

Needed a lunchtime sit-down and light meal ...nice view of the Roman bridge and for 21 Euros we had a carafe of house red, fresh hake steak with rice and salad and a tasty seafood stew...mixture of tourists and locals. Enjoyed this meal just as much as the dinners in our v fancy and pricey 5 star hotel!!

Looking for a light lunch, we saw this restaurant from the bridge. Friendly service and our shrimp omelettes arrived quickly and perfectly cooked. Well used by locals and with almost no passing traffic, just one or two small cars that can squeeze under the bridge arches on the river bank.
