La Moustache - Chauvigny

Had read reviews about this bar restaurant and thought we would try. Great atmosphere and very popular with locals with good beer, wine and spirits. Visited on a busy Saturday evening and staff, although welcoming, were from their feet. Maybe this was... food quality by kitchen staff.... good selection of food on the menu, but after ordering Kefta and Deluxe Burger meals, were disappointed about what we receive. The chips and the salad were great, but the kefta's were bone-dried and a fight to eat... the deluxe burger, which we like rare to medium beef (which is what we met in all France), but that was next to raw mint and could not be consumed. A great place, but be careful what you order in a busy night is the lesson we have learned.

Wonderful table service from the waitress. Delicious food. We had the salami and cheese starter followed by beer smoked fish and chips, caesar salad, steak and Bacon Burger. Good price food ..Fish and chips 12 Euro. The restaurant has translated menus into English. Opens in the eve at 6:00

De passage en famille à Chauvigny, ce bar-restaurant propose un choix de bières de qualité, des burger et salades très bonnes, dans un cadre agréable. Le service est sympa.

Surpris de ce bar/ restaurant : les plats sont simples mais excellents, copieux et originaux. Le choix de bière est impressionnant pour une petite ville et l'accueil est sympathique !
