What User doesn't like about Sazon Colombia:
it was my first time to eat in this restaurant and I was disappointed by the service. not to mention, eating was dry. I sneaked in myself and I waited for over 40 minutes and during this time did not hold any of the waiters on my table to check with me. also I had ordered some items on the menu and they came to different times. but the couple that came after me was served before me. it was until I wanted them to chec... The staff welcomes with a smile and the greetings. I felt so homely, I’ve ordered only Coffee, and not much in LA cafes are eat first pay later, this is one of those. I’m portuguese but they do have similar culture.
The food at this restaurant is pretty good, but the value is lacking as they charge for every little thing. We ordered takeout and were surprised to find out that there is a charge for using credit cards and a fee for bags. I don't mind paying for these things as long as I know ahead of time, but being charged without warning leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I likely won't be returning to this restaurant.
I specifically told the waitress that I have read online that they have empanadas. I asked for the three types and a coffee. She then said, We have lunch. I said, Let me try the empanadas as they might be enough. So, I saw that they were put in the microwave and made me wait for 15 minutes. When I got them they were hard and super hot. Also, the filling was more potato than meat. The cheese used melted like butter. I had to remind the waitress three times to bring me cream for my coffee. Never going back to this place. The waitress was NOT service oriented. She could care less about me. She was irritated when I told her I only wanted the empanadas. The empanadas was the only reason I went there. A complete fiasco.
Great Colombian food tasty and delicious definitely gotta try the picada 100percent
Came on a Friday late morning. Like all the reviews, service was slow although the waitress was nice. I had to keep checking in with her for water, coffee refill or to just place an additional order of pastries. I had the desayuno con carne and upgraded the arepa with cheese. Everything tasted delicious. The empanada and buñuelo didn't taste the freshest. The empanada seemed reheated but good flavor. The buñuelo dough was really hard. If it were fresh you would just know. Overall, pricing seemed average compare to other places, food tasted good nothing that really stands out and parking is hard to come by. The ambiance is nice and cozy.
