Food is good and reasonably priced. Menu is standard with Nasi Lemak, curries and noodles. Nothing exotic to rave about. Table hunting skill is a must. Nice and clean little stall set-up. View all feedback.

Great location inside Chatswood Westfield food court. Plenty of normal fast food takeaway restaurants in the food court, but Sedap cook nice fresh yummy dishes in a few minutes. Harmee (prawns, slices of pork, veggie & noodles served in spicy prawn soup) is very delicious! I used to drive to North Sydney for Harmee, but the quality there is below average now. Sometimes I drive to Sydney CBD for Harmee, but parking is very limited & expensive. Free parking at Westfield Chatswood to enjoy a nice, delicious & spicy bowl of Harmee.Chee Cheong Fun is more a snack or entree, smooth flat noodles mixed with sweet & chili sauces. Although it is tasty, but I still haven't found the real KL style Chee Chrong Fun that you can select 1 or 2 strips of flat noodles, fish meat balls, boiled pork skin & many other extras to mix with your sweet & chili sauces, to create your ultimate 3 or 4pm snack (only in KL :)
I've now eaten at this place at least 5 times and I've tried different dishes. I am European and so can't really judge authenticity, but I do adore Malay food, it's my firm favourite now, and so I've tried many dishes from many places in Sydney, but I've not been to Malaysia...I judge the food based on my own palate. I don't like very spicy food so I ask for all my dishes to be mild-to-medium.I love laksa and I think this place does a good laksa.Their char kwai teow is a bit too oily for my taste but I did like the lapsang sausage in it... normally it has chicken and prawn and sometimes cabbage, but not at this joint.I love the Hainanese chicken rice and this place does a good one. Their te tarik seems to be made from a powder because it always gives me a stomach ache and it looks oddly orange in colour... And they no longer serve their drinks in tin mugs - those thinking of prison can be relieved... lol. I didn't mind the mugs as in my country they're used by people while camping, so it brings back memories of childhood...I like this place but I think they need to charge less. Also, it would be cool if they could stay open when shops close - being part of a food court means they're not avail for dinner, only lunch...Oh and stop charging people for plastic containers! what a joke.
Fantastic and delicious - the Char Kwe Tiau is phenomenal. I love how they put the little Chinese sausages inside! Also, laksa is great too - however a little pricey for a food court meal - well worth it though!
