Blazin BBQ - Chatham-Kent

We are a large group ... we book in advance so that they know 25+ people are coming. We specifically ask NOT TO BE SERVED BY BRANDON. Guess who we always get? Brandon. (or at least that is what we think his name is)Last month I asked for cutlery for our group and he returned with a plate with roll-ups on it and smashed it down on the table. This month we said we were running out of space (as a joke) and he stated I AM RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE WITH YOU GUYS.If you hate your job that much QUIT ... I imagine you must be management as no one who was sane would keep Brandon on staff. No refills on drinks and some waited an hour for their food as for some reason the server thought we wanted our food to all come out at once. (we said bring it as it comes up as the group is fluid with arrivals and leave times)That aside, food is average.

Don't waste your time for mediocre food and hiked drink prices!!!Reserved a table for a surprise BD party for Mar 17 back in January, was surprised they would take a reservation, but great!Confirmed with Derek 1 wk before regarding #'s & time - 600pm. He suggested to get there asap since it would be a busy night. Guests started arriving just after 530, and no reservation. When I arrived about 545, spoke to Derek again, said he said since we weren't there by 400, he gave away our table!!. We could sit in their banquet room, and he walked away. No apology, nothing. FYI, the banquet room is away from the music, festivities & dancers. The reason we went there - management doesn't care about customer satisfaction at all.

By far our favourite BBQ ever. We have been through this menu and love everything. But my favourite will always be the pulled pork sand which with a side of coleslaw and their to die for Mac and cheese. It's all just done right!! Every BBQ joint we visit we are always sure to try the mac and cheese because people are always raving about it. And every time we are left saying. "Blazin is better". Not once have I found a place that has better Mac and cheese then these guys! And their homemade BBQ sauce it fabulous. Also they have daily specials. Like wing night and kids eat free on the same night!! Keep it up guys!

While in the Chatham Ontario area, myself and a friend decided to grab something to eat. She had never heard of this establishment, yet she has lived in the area and has frequented Chatham many times over the years. Well the directions weren't the best, as we passed right on by the place at first. She had her heart set on trying their ribs, so did I. We relied on the address provided for finding this place. Upon missing the sign on the side of the building we ended up turning around and looking more intently for the restaurant. We are both glad that we decided to look more closely for this place. The ambience is definitely Country and Western. My friend stated that she was cold, as the temperature in this place was COOL ! I almost had an experience when I had decided to order the advertised ROOT BEER, only to be told, that they didn't have any !However, the waiter approached me a couple minutes later to explain that, SOMEONE from the establishment had actually gone out and gotten some BOTTLED ROOT BEER! That kind of service, goes a long way into the memory bank of myself. The food arrived a tad later, but, my friend was satisfied with her Baby-Back Ribs, I myself tried the Steak and Ribs Combo. WHY they would put the Steak onto a half bun, I have NO IDEA, except to maybe make it look larger.I also tried the Smashed TATER and COLESLAW, which were good. My friend had her 2 sides, one which was MAC & CHEESE, she wasn't too impressed with that, otherwise, we were happy that we decided to check out this place. It is a PITY, that the temperature wasn't conducive to actually, kicking back and enjoying the meal, as we had to leave, due to the temperature inside of the restaurant. This is a place, that I will definitely return to, whenever, I am in the CHATHAM ONTARIO area !

This restaurant is quite intriguing. The menu is typical and not particularly special. The best part about the place was the bright, shiny machine.
