What AS doesn't like about Asahda's Soulfood:
I’ve been waiting to try this place, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Fried chicken and Mac Cheese- $25 for this portion. I respect the food industry greatly, I’ve been in it and know what it takes -and what costs- and this was way over priced for a low quality meal. Asahda's Soulfood is an awesome restaurant. Really good people and really good food. I will be back again. I was on vacation with my wife celebrating our anniversary and looked up a good restaurant nearby by way of Google Map. We both we're satisfied and happy that we did!
This establishment does not follow it 's advertised schedule and is frequently closed during it 's open hours. Staff is VERY rude and makes you feel as if they are doing you a favor by being there.
This place is a front or part of tax scheme. That’d be cool if they didn’t want $25 for a 2-piece that marginally rivals Colonel Sanders.
Truly delicious cuisine in a friendly and cozy atmosphere. Located on Main Street in beautiful Chatham NJ. Free parking too!
