This charming small pub has friendly staff, delicious food, and a beautiful garden for children. It is definitely worth a visit.

A group of us went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner and it was a terrible experience. It wasn't the service that disappointed us, but rather the quality of the food. The main dishes seemed to have been reheated in a microwave instead of freshly cooked. The chicken was tough and dry, while the beef burger was burnt and topped with solid, dark brown cheese. Even the desserts were subpar, especially the bannoffee pie which had a rotten strawberry as a garnish. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she took it to the kitchen where the chef laughed and told her to apologize on his behalf. Despite pointing out these issues politely at the end of the meal, we were met with more laughter from the kitchen staff and offered only two drinks taken off the bill as compensation. For a table of [number], this was not satisfactory. Overall, the food was awful, reheated, and the kitchen staff were rude.
