We had dinner at la maison d'alice and it was amazing. The restaurant is a part of alice s house. very well decorated, authenticity at its best. The food was delicious! I highly recommend it
This restaurant is tucked away in a small street of Châtellerault with off-street parking. I think it is essential to book.There are small, comfortable dining rooms with charming décor. Service is excellent - timely and not over-attentive.A real positive of the place is the very short menu - one meat dish and one fish on the dinner menu. This means that care and attention was given to its preparation and presentation resulting in a delicious dish. Some of our party had fish, others the beef and all were very happy. This is what French dining should be instead of the pizza-and-burger-serving-televison-blaring brasseries or the ubiquitous Quick, Flunch and McDo's that seem to be springing up everywhere.The restaurant is not expensive and extremely good value for money
