Yes it is very busy, yes you may get the odd grumpy response from the owner/manager but that’s because he’s trying to please a full restaurant on a sunny day. We skied down early...morning to book a table for and were given no promises as (clearly) on a Sunny day this gorgeous terrace is the place to be. Anyway we arrived at and our table was ready (sorry should have taken our hosts name) Great service, lovely mountain food in the sunshine. Worth the wait on a sunny day get here early.

Whether for a drink or a meal, you can enjoy yourself on the large terrace sheltered from the wind or inside in snowy weather. What can we say about the dishes! Jérôme and Jérémie work in the kitchen and offer us typical, generous, excellent and, above all, homemade dishes. Your dishes are sent to you without delay and with a smile. In short, a nice break in your day of riding, an essential stopover in Châtel. On the other hand, point of attention: be careful, if you go there once, you will definitely return
