What Paul Guillaume dislikes about Hostellerie Du Château:
Nous venons de déjeuner dans ce restaurant, et terriblement déçu...rapport qualité prix très moyen, œufs en meurette fades, pavé de charolais, bon mais sans aucune présentation, donc une assiette triste...quand aux desserts, sans intérêt.!.On peut manger la même chose dans n'importe quel restaurant. Service peu professionnel.Nous ne reviendrons pas. View all feedback.

Lunch after visiting the castle. Excellent Menu de Jour at Euro 15.50. Food very good for price and friendly service. Great location in the fortified village next to the castle.

A nice lunch in a very nice courtyard. The menu had a wide selection of small and large meals available. My smoked salmon with salad was delicious, and the perfect light lunch (accompanied by a chilled glass of white wine)

We had lunch here last year on their pleasant terrace and returned this year to dinner in the dining room. Both were very pleasant. Very nice atmosphere with good food at reasonable prices and friendly service.

Having spent the week in the village we of course got to try almost every restaurant in the village. This one is by far the best in all ways. One the service is what you would expect, the owner greets you seats you WHERE YOU...WANT. The waiter afterwards very attentive. This of course is a SHARP contrast with l'Orée du Bois down the street where one can wait up to 3/4 hour before every being noticed. Secondly the food we had jambon persillé (typical Burgundy ham) and Boeuf bourguignon cooked to perfection and refined. Nothing to do with the frozen fries and overcooked and insipid hamburger down the street. It costs a little more than the other restaurants, but well worth it. If you're willing to save a few euros to wait eternally and eat frozen food heated up go down the street.

Very good restaurant and pleasant staff. Have been there a few times and the food is always good. This place has been taken over from the lady who had a restaurant near by. Not much room inside but large terrasse. They have a few rooms but...I would not recommend to stay there unless you have too. This is a very old place and it need refurnishing, coat of paint and mainly new larger bathroom!! The bathroom is a...cupboard with a very small cubicle shower...a small sink between it and the toilet...if you close the door very very tight..... NO AIR CONDITIONING...SO VERY HOT IN THE SUMMER. This could be a romantic hotel IF THE UPGRADED THE BEDROOMS. Staff pleasant. Small breakfast but enough.
