It is better than average but I find very good is a bit exaggerating. It has a clever formula where the main dishes are from the food truck. Well grilled but you do not need a star chef to make a good grill. Wine list is as the restaurants here very good. Note that it does not open everyday nowadays so check and reserve maybe a good option. But they did not respond to email very quickly. View all feedback.
Our family group of 13 cycled from Beaune to Chassagne Montrachet and we enjoyed the most wonderful lunch experience at La Cabane. Our waiter Henoi was superb especially with the children in our group. He promptly took their orders and their food arrived quickly. While the adults dined the children were able to play in the adjoining playground which worked well for everyone. Our meals were delicious and the preparation showed flair and the presentation was attractive. We were all suitably satisfied and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Had the opportunity to visit this “food truck” restaurant several times during our recent stay in Puligny-Montrachet. It is situated near the center of the village in Chassagne-Montrachet. The chef is literally in a food truck but also has a sizable grill available as well. Almost everything is prepared on the grill. Food is very good and the service is as well. Reservations are recommended as they fill up almost every meal. Quite charming and a must do if you are in the area!
Groovy place just off the Voie des Vignes. Parked the bikes and had a delicious lunch of braised pork and a burger. Fantastic chocolate mousse for dessert. Nice wines by the glass. Highly recommended.
