I live in Chase and would not eat here at all, I have tried it several times and the quality of the food was worse than food court. the picture posted on this site is misleading, This is a run down establishment. I don't believe that the picture on this website is food that came from the Mountain View Cafe. The Mountain View Café first of all does not have a good view. The décor needs some refreshing. There never seems to be anyone there so I don't know how they stay in business. The food was passable, they are friendly, but we were the only ones there. But they have been there a long time so maybe they have a good takeout?
The place is running down, from restaurant itself to the food, very few choices and not very good prepared, taste is awful. Cleanness is very concerning, bathroom is not useable. Not sure why the owner is not keeping the place up. We were the only customer for the hour. Will not go back.
Considering previous reviews, it has improved significantly over the years. Currently, it provides takeout and decent service. I would recommend however to just get takeout as the restaurant has a unique atmosphere to say it nicely. The food was lovingly prepared in view for us and the taste was just good. Nothing much to say really, it was just good for what it was. Overall, I would recommend if you are in the area.
Unique little coffee shop with a beautiful view and good selection of items on menu served by delightful and friendly owners.
