We have been there many times over 10 years. The current menu was varied we both had the elk scaloppini. They were very accommodating for substitutions. Excellent meals. Prices were high but the quality very good. The wine prices were high and we paid over $60 for an OK red that was warm. Room temp does not mean 80 degrees. What Leonardo Skiles doesn't like about Jack Sam's Restaurant at the Quaaout Lodge:
The food was very good. However, the service was not. It took a while for someone to greet us at the host station. Once greeted, we sat and then it took over 5 minutes for our waitress to contact us. We discussed getting up and going somewhere else when she got to our table. We ordered drinks and the wait began. Very good menu. We had the albacore tuna bowl and the beef dip. Both were very tasty. The service was exceptional and had a lovely view of Little Shuswap Lake from our table. It is a great place to enjoy both the food and the ambiance.
The service,presentation and food was excellent would definitely recommend it
